The Cash Flow Statement is a
record of only the cash transactions during a particular period of time
(e.g., 1/1/00 - 12/31/01). It is similar to a checkbook register, which
shows wages received and the bills and expenses that are paid, but not
what is owed.
Example: $2,000 wages - $1,000 bills paid (but not including bills
owed) = $1,000 cash remaining.
