Conduct your own search for programs within your state or national web sites that focus on self-employment. Many of them provide information that may help with business development, startup, or operation.

When evaluating a web site, try to answer the following questions:

  • Whose site is it?
  • What information does it contain?
  • What was the quality of the site?
  • Was this site useful to you?
  • What wasn’t helpful and why?
  • Would it be useful to someone you work with?
  • What was helpful?
  • How would you use this site?
